Hai T. Dong

Hai Dong is a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate at the California Institute of Technology in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. With training in inorganic chemistry and spectroscopy, he is now working at the interface of heterogenous and homogenous catalysis exploring chemical principles, using spectroscopy and computational chemistry, that can help improving selectivity of useful chemical transformations that can turn greenhouse gasses to useful chemical feedstock. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (2021) from the University of Michigan, US, and a B.S. in Chemistry (2016) from the University of Cincinnati, US.
